Pizza Autentica

I spent my year abroad in ‘pizza country’ so I was very lucky to get to eat it on a regular basis and tried many  varieties in different regions. Everyone has a preference on the base (thick and doughy or thin and crispy) and toppings, I changed my preference during my year and ended up preferring fewer toppings. This pizza was by far the best one I have ever eaten and unsurprisingly it was in Naples, the birthplace of pizza. This pizza rossa (tomato base) is topped with mozzarella di bufala, fior di latte (normal mozzarella), pomodoro (tomato sauce) and basilico (basil). Deliziosa!
