Braumeisterinnenteller – The Master Brewer’s Dish

Image From September 2011 to June 2012 I was in Osnabrück, Germany, and while the city itself didn’t offer endless opportunities, I quickly found my favourite restaurants – Kartoffelhaus and Rampendahl to name two. German food is typically very hearty and filling, and this dish was no different. At Rampendahl the chicken breasts (!) are served with creamy cabbage, crispy potato rosti and a side salad. German food is quickly dismissed when compared with cuisines from other countries, which is a shame, as there are some hidden gems!
